Chop’s Art Studio exposes teenagers to a wide range of creative activities and opportunities. Through  workshops and classes, teens experience art disciplines such as pottery and ceramics, sewing and embroidery, painting, and construction. The Art Studio is committed to participating in large-scale community events and providing outreach to schools. We are dedicated to promoting unique and affordable activities that foster creativity in a safe artistic atmosphere!

Clay and Pottery

Description:   Join us and have fun learning basic to intermediate techniques in wheel throwing, hand building, and glazing! This workshop is designed to inspire teens to be creative and to have success in design!  On-site kiln and two wheels available.  Join up for several or come on a drop-in basis.

Sewing/Collage/Junk Art and More!

Description:   Get creative with everything and anything! Learn to use our sewing machine, discover the satisfaction of collage or deconstruct to recreate! This workshop is designed to teach skills in sewing and assembly while also creativity and success in design! Machines and materials included. Join for several workshops or come in on a drop-in basis.

Get Your Canvas Wet!

Description:   Splash some color and make a painting! Join our studio instructor to learn basic techniques in painting; application, tools, color theory, and more. This workshop is designed to inspire teens to be creative and to have success in design! Create a quality finished piece and leave with a portfolio to bring to school. Join up for several or come on a drop-in basis.
