Chop’s Teen Club houses a state of the art 3/4 size Gymnasium that includes a 35 foot Rock Wall with five different levels of difficulty. Activities include basketball, volleyball, dodge ball, badminton, indoor soccer, group games and more. Join us for some drop-in action, or plan to be here for the following weekly activities.
Activity Name: Rock Wall
Description: Every Monday and Friday there will be new challenges to conquer on Chop’s indoor rock wall. Our certified belayer will guide you up our new and improved routes. And if you’re not ready to wear a harness and scramble up the wall, we have new bouldering games that will test your skills while you are still near enough to reach out and touch the ground.

Activity Name: Member’s Choice
Description: On Wednesdays members run the gym! We bust out all the sporting gear that Chop’s has to offer for two hours of fun! You and your friends can play anything from dodge ball to badminton, indoor soccer, volleyball, basketball, flag football, to bowling and whiffle ball. The list is almost endless, and you can make up your own creative new games.

Activity Name: Obstacle Course
Description: Ever tried to watch Wipe Out, Fear Factor, and The Great Race all at the same time? We can’t watch them at the same time, but we can do them! Join us on the first Saturday of every month and compete in our rotating obstacle course. New challenges and new PRIZES every month!

Activity Name: Rock ‘N Hoops
Description: Join Chop’s and Chico Averbuck, NCBA Head Coach and Cleveland Cavalier Recruiter for some Rock ‘N Hoops! Games and tournaments will be organized in the Gym from 4-10 pm. We will get warmed up with a basketball fundamentals clinic, then teams will be formed and score will be kept in a tournament bracket format. PRIZES will be awarded!

Activity Name: Basketball
Description: Join us every Tuesday for basketball in the gym. Our Youth Sports Coordinator, Justin, will organize teams for full court games, one-on-one tournaments, skill drills, or a laid back game of Horse, Thunder, or Around the World. Regardless of your age or skill level, you’ll have a great time and get a good workout on our court!

Activity Name: Be Fit
Description: Join us every Wednesday for 8 weeks and learn how to be fit! We will be doing 45 minute cardio workouts, relay races, circuit training, have guest instructors, learn healthyeating habits, and get measured on the first and last class to see how your hard work paid off. Parent permission will be needed to participate in neighborhood runs.

Activity Name: Volleyball Clinic – Individual Sessions
Description: Join Coach Koy Stewart on Monday and Wednesday nights for a volleyball clinic. You will receive 45 minutes of instruction, followed by 1.25 hours of play time. You’ll be in good hands with Coach Koy, head varsity volleyball coach at Montgomery High School, and a coach for Empire Volleyball Club. Open to 7th-12th graders; all skill levels are welcome.
