Activity Name: Member Council

Description: Member meetings allow teen members to come together, voice your opinions, and take an active role in shaping the future of Chop’s Teen Club. Meetings are held on the second and fourth Mondays of each month and are facilitated by our Member Council. Staff mentors will help you develop leadership skills necessary to represent and interact with your peers.

Activity Name: Water Days

Description: Cool off from the summer heat and join us for Chop’s Annual Water Days! These refreshing fun-filled days will consist of different water activities such as Capture the Flag, water balloon fights, Hot Potato water balloon style, Water Cup Derby and many more! We will rope off the parking lot on the second Tuesday of June, July and August for these exciting events.

Activity Name: Field Trips

Description: Join us for a fun outing on the second Thursday of each month this summer. In June we will visit Snoopy’s Home Ice. In July we’ll catch a summer blockbuster movie at The Roxy. In August we’ll head over to Laser Tag of Santa Rosa. Permission slips are needed for these excursions. Please call or see the front desk for details. Chop’s staff will chaperone these as either a walking field trip or by public transportation to and from Chop’s and we will always return by 7 pm.

Activity Name: Capoeira

Description: Capoeira is a Brazilian martial art that combines martial arts, dance, music and acrobatics. In this 6 week session you will learn about the history of Capoeira, how to do the basic movements, become skilled in defensive moves to avoid attacks and learn the basic rhythm on the instruments. This will be a movement class, so come in comfortable workout clothes. You can either wear tennis shoes or participate in bare feet.

Activity Name: Girls Group

Description: Join us every Friday for field trips, art projects, baking, games and more. We will have heart to heart conversations and discuss daily successes and challenges. Make new friends and share your dreams and goals in a safe and rewarding place for girl time. This is a collaborative program with St. Joseph Health-Sonoma County.


Activity Name:   Interact General Meeting

Description:   Join Interact Club every fourth Friday and develop leadership skills while helping others. Sponsored by the Santa Rosa Rotary West, Interact Club commits to complete two community service projects each year, including one that furthers international understanding and goodwill. Interact experience is a great resume builder, and may help get you into the college of your choice.
